WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR?

Becoming an apprenticeship ambassador is an exciting chance for school students, like yourself, to represent popular UK companies like EY, Barclays and The University of Law. The role involves promoting the companies’ apprenticeship programmes, events, and opportunities through your social media platforms and school networks.

DO APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADORS GET PAID?

We pay our apprenticeship ambassadors £13 per hour, which is one of the highest apprenticeship ambassador salaries in the UK.

WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCESS?

Application: Students start by filling out a form.

Initial Screening: We review the applications received.

Contact for Interview: If your application is successful, we will contact you to schedule a video interview.

Interview: You participate in a video interview.

Selection: Successful applicants will be chosen based on their interview performance.

Contract: Once selected, you will receive your contract.

Congratulations: You are now an official Apprenticeship Ambassador.

HOW DO I BECOME AN APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR?

The easiest way to become an apprenticeship ambassador is by filling out the short application form here. It should only take a few minutes to complete. Once you’ve made your profile, you’ll be able to apply for a role.

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO BECOME AN APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR?

To become an apprenticeship ambassador, you need to be between the ages of 16-18. We’re looking for students who are active on social media, participate in extracurricular activities, are creative and enthusiastic about promoting career opportunities. Some skills that are good to have include: social media skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

HOW DO I GET PAID AS AN APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR?

Once you’ve started working as an apprenticeship ambassador, you submit timesheets every month through our online portal. Your pay is then transferred straight into your UK bank account. It’s that simple and you will be trained on how to do this. Apply to become an apprenticeship ambassador today.

I APPLIED FOR A ROLE BUT I HAVEN’T HEARD BACK YET, DOES THAT MEAN I AM UNSUCCESSFUL?

We try to get back to all applicants within at least two weeks. However due to the high volume of applications we receive, occasionally this may take a little longer.

WHAT TYPE OF ACTIVITIES WILL I BE DOING AS PART OF THE APPRENTICESHIP AMBASSADOR ROLE?

Each apprenticeship ambassador role is different. Typical activities include: - Social media activity (using channels such as TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram to promote employer's apprenticeship programmes, events, and other opportunities) - Audience engagement (attracting students to sign up to the companies’ mailing list) Remember that every apprenticeship ambassador receives training from the team before starting their role.

CAN I REPRESENT MORE THAN ONE EMPLOYER?

Yes, as an apprenticeship ambassador you will work on up to three campaigns or for three companies at the same time.

HOW WILL I HEAR IF I’M SUCCESSFUL?

Once you’ve submitted your application, one of our team will contact you by telephone to tell you if you’ve been successful.

WHAT IS THE ONLINE COMMUNITY I’LL BE JOINING?

By downloading the app, you’ll have access to all your campaigns in one place, be able to communicate with managers, secure and enhance your skills through online training while connecting with other ambassadors.

WILL I RECEIVE TRAINING?

Yes, you will be supported throughout by one of our team and receive online training that covers social media best practices, brand guidelines and objectives and targets.
